Moving
Permits
(for exact language, see Chapter 84 of Borough Code)
A moving permit is necessary when moving within or out of the borough. The permit cost is $1.00.
Security Deposit
A one time utility security deposit fee for home buyers and individuals renting property is payable at the borough office. Security deposit rates are based on the specific utilities at the property. This deposit is refundable after 24 consecutive months of payments on or before the due date or when the utilities are discontinued.
Permits and Inspections

Building permits are required before any construction takes place in the borough. Contact Code Enforcement Officer and Building Inspection, Tino Nocchi on Tuesday evenings between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM in the Borough Office. Permits may be acquired through him.
Abandoned Vehicles

Chapter 92 of Borough Code)
Abandoned, junked, discarded and unlicensed motor vehicles are prohibited and will be ticketed. Abandoned vehicles must be removed by the owner within five (5) days of receiving notice. Failure to comply will result in the removal and destruction of the vehicle by the Borough and its' authorized agents at the expense of he owner.
Voting Information
Voting in Weatherly Borough is held at the Eurana Park on the East side of town and at Tweedle Park on the West Side of town. You may register to vote at the Carbon County Courthouse in Jim Thorpe, Bureau of Elections, first floor, or register by calling the Bureau of Elections at 325-4801.
