Carbon Monroe Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission,Inc.
Carbon Monroe Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission is located at 428 South Seventh Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.


This office can be reached toll free at 1-866-824-3578 to access services.


At the Lehighton location Assessment, Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, DUI Services, and Recovery Support Services are offered. In addition a Family Intervention Program is offered for families seeking help with motivating a family member to seek needed treatment. The Commission also provides educational presentations within the community through its Prevention Department. As part of the Outpatient Unit a Medication Assisted Treatment Program is offered utilizing suboxone to treat individuals addicted to opioids. Referrals and funding for individuals in need of methadone are also made to our contracted methadone provider.


The assessment is free for the uninsured person seeking an assessment who is not court ordered. If Outpatient Treatment is recommended it will be based on a sliding scale fee. If detox or rehab is recommended there is limited funding available to provide these services at little to no cost for the client.  The Commission accepts CCBH (Medical Assistance behavioral health coverage in Carbon County), Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and First Priority. The Commission also accepts self pay clients.


PATH- PA Treatment and Healing
PATH is located at 335 N. Fourth Street, 2nd Floor, Lehighton, PA 18235. This office can be reached at 1-610-377-8870.


The following services are offered: Outpatient, Assessment, referral to higher level of care, family therapy, informational sessions for concerned family members, family or significant other intervention, and community education.


PATH accepts Medical Assistance (CCBH) and self pay for the above services. In addition PATH provides an After School Evening Day Treatment  Program for adolescents, which is Medical Assistance approved. Drug and Alcohol Counseling is a component of this program, in addition to individual an group counseling, life skills instruction, parental education, support, and counseling, and social skills development.
